CIT Relay & Switch offers VM3 Series 16 Amp Snap Action Switch (Single Pole Double Throw Circuit)

The CIT Relay & Switch VM3 Series snap-action switch offers choice of single pole single throw or single pole double throw circuit. This UL/CUL recognized switch is available in 0.187″ or 0.250″ quick connect termination. As with all CIT switch product, the VM3 series is RoHS compliant and includes multiple lever and gram force options.

Specifications: The electrical life of the VM3 series is 100,000 cycles typically. Electrical rating is 16A @ 125VAC, 6A @ 125VAC and 5A @ 125VACL/T120. Contact resistance is less than 20mW initially. Dielectric strength is 1000Vrms minimum. Insulation resistance is greater than 100MΩ initially. Base, Cover and Pin Plunger are PBT, UL94-V0 with silver alloy contacts and silver plated copper alloy terminals. Operating and storage temperature is -40°C to 120°C.

Common applications for the VM3 Series snap-action switches include leveling and safety switches in elevators, vending machines and to detect paper jams and other faults in photocopies. The VM3 Series is ideal for use in appliances, machinery, industrial controls, vehicles and many other places for control of electrical circuits. Pricing ranges from $0.40, dependent upon options and volume. CIT Relay & Switch lead time is six to eight weeks.
